Volunteers begin building homes in Harambee

Volunteers this week will frame eight Habitat for Humanity homes in Milwaukee’s Harambee neighborhood on the near northwest side.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is partnering with other volunteers for Thrivent Builds with
Habitat Week from May 11 to 15. The building kicked off at 10 a.m. Monday.
Thrivent and its foundation have invested more than $3.6 million in the Harambee neighborhood over the past three years, including $704,275 this year for 10 Milwaukee Habitat homes.
