Kevin Duffy has a lot on his plate, but he says he couldn’t be happier.

The senior project manager at Hoffman LLC, Appleton, is father to two girls, and his wife, Missy, is due to deliver their third child in early August.

Duffy returned to Hoffman this spring after working there from 1999 to 2003. He spent the past several years working for Bor-Son Construction Inc., Minneapolis, before Hoffman recruited him back, Duffy said.

Now, the growing family is looking for a house in the Fox Valley area. In the meantime, Duffy is commuting from Minnesota two days a week, juggling his many responsibilities. Despite the many directions he’s pulled in, Duffy said he feels blessed.

This month we had questions for Duffy, and he was willing to answer.

What word in the English language do you wish you had invented?

Equity, because I want more

What is the first concert you went to?

Not much of a concert buff, but I had a blast at Summerfest on several occasions. I think I even saw Ted Nugent on one of those trips.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Our honeymoon in Jamaica — not enough days away but worth every penny. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I’m living it with my two beautiful daughters, Greta and Maggie, and my lovely wife, Missy, who is due in early August. There is nothing better.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

“Knock it off,” “Hurry up,” “Can I finish that ice-cream?”

What is your most treasured possession?

My family: Missy, Greta, Maggie, baby and even the dog, Burris

What traits do you most like in others?

Honesty, ethics and family values

What do you miss most about your childhood?

Having everything in life figured out with no clue on how complicated it can be.

Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Michael Connelly

Who are your heroes?

My wife and kids. Also, fictional character John Rambo
