New corporate headquarters for Gauthier Biomedical Inc. are planned for a 10-acre site in Grafton, a move that will double the size of the company’s current facility in the village.
Construction is expected to begin in January and be completed in October 2011 on the site located on Highway 60 just west of Port Washington Road in the Grafton Corporate Park. The new two-story building will have 28,000-square-feet of office space and 32,000-square-feet of manufacturing space.
Gauthier expects to increase from 60 to 70 employees when the new office opens and eventually add another 75 workers.
Gauthier manufactures spinal and orthopedic surgical instruments.
