Steam rises in the afternoon air as a crew with Payne & Dolan Inc., Waukesha, works Wednesday to blacktop the parking lot in Endicott Park in Brookfield. The park is receiving $750,000 in improvements, according to Bill Kolstad, director of Brookfield's Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. New features include the paved parking lot, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts and a trail. The improvements are expected to be completed by June.
