Slow traffic ahead

A road crew removes sections of concrete along westbound I-94 in Brookfield on Thursday. Several full-time, single-lane closures began Wednesday in both Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. The work is part of a rehabilitation project on I-94 in both directions from WIS 16 to 124th Street in Waukesha County, and westbound I-94 from 70th to 32nd streets in Milwaukee County, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
