MENASHA, Wis. (AP) — A flexible packaging company is taking over part of the former Kimberly-Clark diaper plant in the Fox Valley.
Prolamina is leasing part of the 780,000 square-foot plant in the town of Menasha that Kimberly-Clark sold to a development group last week for nearly $5 million. Kimberly-Clark closed the diaper plant in 2007.
The company expects to hire about 70 full-time employees initially as it begins operations in the fall at the $25 million state-of-the-art plant.
The Appleton Post-Crescent reports the company designs and manufactures packaging for the food, dairy and medical markets.
