OSHA reports
• Lang Masonry, Mosinee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 18 to reduce a $4,200 fall-protection citation to $2,500, a $4,200 powered-industrial-trucks citation to $2,000 and two scaffolding citations, totaling $8,400, to $4,000. The company was issued the citations July 28 during a masonry job at 603 Fourth St., Mosinee.
• Jerry Smith & Sons Inc., Muskego, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 18 to reduce a $1,800 head-protection citation to $800, a $4,200 scaffolding-training citation to $800 and four scaffolding citations, totaling $10,800, to $800. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss four scaffolding citations, totaling $10,800. The company was issued the citations Aug. 4 during a masonry job at 2810 Mohican Circle, Waukesha.
• Musson Bros. Inc., Rhinelander, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 5 to reduce a $4,000 safety-training-and-education citation to $2,000. The company was issued the citation Sept. 15 during a highway and street construction job in Oconomowoc.
• Boscha Construction Inc., Racine, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 8 to reduce two scaffolding citations, totaling $8,400, to $2,000. The company was issued the citations April 13 during a framing job at 2920 16th Place, Kenosha.
