Construction is under way for a 28,000-square-foot multi-use building at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds in Cedarburg.

When completed this fall, it will become home to the Milwaukee Curling Association and the Ozaukee County Community Center. A 50-year lease agreement between the MCA and Ozaukee County gives naming rights to the MCA. Naming rights are now available, subject to county approval.

The naming company will receive advertising exposure in building and road signage, among other benefits. The MCA hopes to continue fundraising to satisfy construction costs for its half of the project, and naming rights will contribute immensely.

The Milwaukee Curling Association will use the building six months of the year, with the balance used by the county for large gatherings, trade shows, banquets, exhibits and more.

The building was designed by Kahler Slater of Milwaukee, and constructed by Construction Management Group Inc., New Berlin.

For information about naming rights, or general information about the MCA, contact MCA’s Roanne Barnes at 262-241-1016.
