Roundabout construction to close portions of County CE, WIS 55

Portions of County CE will be closed during construction of a roundabout at the intersection with WIS 55 in Kaukauna from July 10 through October.

The east end of County CE will be closed at the beginning of the project. The closure will move to the west end of County CE as construction continues.

Motorists will be detoured around construction by using County N, County KK and County GG. A detour for bicyclists will also be available.

One lane in each direction of WIS 55 will remain open throughout construction.

LaLonde Contractors Inc., Milwaukee, is the general contractor for the $1.4 million project, according to a news release from WisDOT.
