Public meetings set for US 18/151 in Dane, Iowa counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold two public information meetings on the Highway 18/151 freeway conversion study, according to a WisDOT news release.
The study is for proposed work between the Highway 18 exit to Dodgeville in Iowa County and the County MV exit west of Verona in Dane County, according to the release.
The first meeting will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Horeb Community Center, 107 North Grove St., Mount Horeb.
The second meeting will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dodgeville Middle School, 951 West Chapel St., Dodgeville.
WisDOT is carrying out the study to determine the roadway changes needed to convert Highway18/151 from an expressway to a freeway, according to the release.
Existing public road intersections with Highway 18/151 will be converted to highway interchanges, overpasses or cul-de-sacs.
