Public meeting July 24 for WIS 20 reconstruction

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation on Tuesday will hold a public information meeting to discuss the reconstruction of WIS 20, from Thomas Drive to Honey Creek Road in Walworth and Racine counties, according to a WisDOT news release.

The meeting will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 2015 Energy Drive, East Troy.

WisDOT, according to the release, will address WIS 20’s poor pavement conditions. Multiple configurations are being considered for the WIS 20/County ES intersection, as well as a potential grade-separated railroad crossing near Honey Creek Road, according to the release.

The work is scheduled for 2018.
