WisDOT to hold public meetings on I-94 work

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold two public meetings to present information about possible improvements to a nearly 3-mile stretch of Interstate 94, according to a news release.
The targeted portion of I-94 runs between 70th and 25th streets in Milwaukee County, and an environmental and engineering analysis has begun.
The interchange with U.S. 41, Highway 341 and Miller Parkway is included in that stretch, as are interchanges at 70th and 68th streets, Hawley Road, Mitchell Boulevard, 35th Street, 26th Street and Saint Paul Avenue, and West Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street.
The meetings will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 and 23. The Aug. 21 meeting will be held at Gate 5 of the Tommy Thompson Youth Center at State Fair Park, 640 S. 84th St., Milwaukee.
The Aug. 23 meeting will be held at Burbank Elementary School, 6035 W. Adler St., Milwaukee.
