WisDOT to hold Aug. 28 meeting for Highway 100 reconstruction project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a meeting to discuss a 2018 reconstruction project of Highway 100 in Milwaukee County.
The project will target Highway 100 between St. Martins Road and College Avenue, according to a new release from WisDOT. It will expand the two-lane road between St. Martins Road and Drexel Avenue to a four-lane, divided road. It will also expand the four-lane road between Drexel and Rawson avenues to six lanes and add bicycle lanes and improve pedestrian access to the six-lane road between Rawson and College avenues.
The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 28 in the Community Room at Franklin City Hall, 9229 W. Loomis Road.
