Downed power line closes I-94 in Waukesha County

A downed power line on Thursday afternoon is blocking both eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 94 at Maple Avenue in Waukesha County, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release.
Westbound travelers will be detoured by taking the exit for County SS, driving north to Golf Road, west to Highway 83 and south back to I-94.
Eastbound travelers will be detoured by taking the exit for Highway 83 to Golf Road, east to County SS and south back to I-94.
WisDOT expects the power line to be cleared by 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
