The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a meeting Wednesday to discuss the reconstruction of the intersection at Highway 45 and County K in Kenosha County, according to a WisDOT news release.
The meeting will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kenosha County Center Hearing Room, 19600 75th St., Bristol.
The Highway 45 and County K intersection is in the top 5 percent of hazardous intersections in the region, according to the release.
To improve the intersection’s safety a single-lane roundabout will be built, which is expected to reduce crashes at the intersection.
The project is scheduled to begin in 2017.
