Traffic on Highway 100 will be shifted to the inside lanes between Walnut Road and Burleigh Street in Milwaukee County on Sept. 4 so the outer lanes can be repaved, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release.
The work is part of a $6.9 million project that includes repaving that stretch of Highway 100, extending left-turn lanes, removing median openings and increasing vehicle clearance at the Interstate 45 overpass.
The project is expected to be complete Nov. 1.
