Mike Nolan of C.D. Smith Construction, Fond du Lac, spreads concrete Aug. 28 on the sixth floor of the new Milwaukee Marriott. The 205-room, $54 million hotel will be a mix of new construction and renovations to existing buildings on the downtown site. The project is a joint venture between C.D.
