Highway 50 construction in Walworth County will be discussed at a public Wisconsin Department of Transportation meeting Sept. 25.
The construction project, scheduled for 2018, will target the highway between Wisconsin and Wright streets in Delavan.
Between Wisconsin Street and Park Avenue, the highway will be resurfaced, and water mains will be replaced. The highway will be widened and an intersection reconfigured between Park Avenue to a point east of Wright Street. The project will improve pedestrian and bicyclist access with a path on the northern side of the highway.
The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. in the council chambers at Delavan City Hall, 123 S 2nd St.
