US 45 exit ramp to close ahead of Zoo Interchange project

The northbound U.S. 45 exit ramp at Bluemound Road will close for about two weeks starting Oct. 1, as will 95th Street between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue.

The exit ramp will be closed to accommodate construction of a temporary U.S. 45 exit ramp at Wisconsin Avenue, which will aid traffic flow to Milwaukee Regional Medical Center and Wauwatosa during Zoo Interchange reconstruction, and 95th Street will be closed to accommodate construction of a cul-de-sac.

When the cul-de-sac is complete, prior access to U.S. 45 via 95th Street will be restricted, and drivers are encouraged to take 97th Street to Wisconsin Avenue and use the Wisconsin Avenue entrance ramp.

Some overnight lane restrictions will occur.
