The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will discuss a project to repair portions of Highway 100 and Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee County at an open house Oct. 22.
The project will resurface Highway 100 from Burleigh Street to Silver Spring Drive and improve the highway’s intersection with Capitol Drive, according to a news release from WisDOT. Silver Spring Drive will be lowered under the U.S. 45 overpasses to improve clearance and be repaved. Bicycle lanes will also be added to Silver Spring Drive.
The open house will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Mayfair Mall Community Room, 2500 N. Mayfair Road. For more information, call Tom Lazcano at 262-574-5437.
