Milwaukee County is offering repair loans to help homeowners handle cold weather.
The money is intended to pay for emergency projects, such as furnace and water heater replacement or sewer lateral repairs.
Income eligibility ranges from $39,350 for a family of one to $65,150 for a family of six, according to a new release. Eligible borrowers must live in Oak Creek, South Milwaukee, St. Francis, Cudahy, West Milwaukee, Franklin, Hales Corners, Greendale, Greenfield, Brown Deer, Shorewood, Bayside, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, River Hills or Fox Point.
