Path finders

Milwaukee  County officials break ground on the new South Shore Park bike path on the shore  of Lake Michigan. The shovelers included Supervisor Richard Nyklewicz (left),  Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic, former Supervisor Lori Lutzka, County Executive  Scott Walker and County Parks Superintendent Sue Black. Edgerton Contractors,  Oak Creek, will create the bike path, which is one portion of a more than $2 million  project that also includes reconstructing the park’s breakwater. The county is  still trying to put together funding for the breakwater reconstruction.
