New North announces nine new Green Tier members (4:36 p.m. 7/8/09)

New North Inc. on Wednesday announced that nine Wisconsin companies are now recognized as members of the state Department of Natural Resources’ Green Tier program.
New inductees include: The Boldt Co. and Casaloma Development Corp. of Appleton; Genmar Yacht Group of Pulaski; Holsum Dairies LLC of Hilbert; Kimberly-Clark Corp. of Neenah; MEGTEC Systems of De Pere; Professional Plating Inc. of Brillion; Ripon Printers of Ripon; and Marinette-based Winsert Inc.
Green Tier companies have access to incentives, including less frequent inspections by the state, that are not available to other companies.
New North Inc. is a regional collaboration effort to promote regional cooperation and economic development in 18 counties throughout northeast Wisconsin.
