Court strikes down water quality conditions for megafarm

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state appeals court says a municipality overstepped when it imposed water quality conditions on a giant Rock County farm’s permit.
According to the ruling, Larson Acres Inc. asked the town of Magnolia to expand operations to 1,500 animal units. A thousand animal units is equivalent to about 700 cows.

The tree architect
