6 fire departments fight Uniroyal blaze in Stoughton

STOUGHTON, Wis. (AP) — Firefighters from six departments battled a blaze at Uniroyal Engineered Products in Stoughton early Tuesday.
According to a Dane County communications center dispatcher, firefighters were called to the plant about 4 a.m. where smoke and fire was pouring from an exterior heating unit at the plant.

OSCEOLA, Wis. (AP) — Polaris Industries Inc. will shut down its parts plant in the western Wisconsin city of Osceola, according to the company.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Spanish manufacturer of wind-turbine generators will build its first U.S. manufacturing plant in Milwaukee.
