MADISON, Wis. (AP) —  Most major road construction projects are being put on hold over the long 4th of July holiday weekend, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
There will still be lane restrictions on Interstate 94 south of Milwaukee, I-94 east of Madison and highways 41 near Oshkosh and 172 at Green Bay.

Instead of competing against each other for earthmoving contracts, Pagel Construction Co. Inc. and Hoffman Construction Co. are now sharing the equipment sales market.
