Taxpayer’s alliance says, ““Wisconsin’s economy is tied closely to the nation’s: for example employment here moves up and down with national movements,””. Except of course since Walker’s budget took effect. National private sector employment has been increasing steadily while Wisconsin has lost jobs for 6 months in a row. We’ll see what the January Wisconsin numbers are in a few weeks.

Scott, please provide some backup to your claim that Mr Neumann is the leading tea-party backed candidate. Seems to me that the majority of conservatives in Wisconsin don’t like him because of his unethical campaign against Walker. Or maybe you were just making that part up.

Minnesota is still a backward, liberal, socialist, business hating state. They will lose good jobs in the Duluth area because of this. No one every used the word intelligent and democrat in the same sentence. Finally in Wisconsin, we have a smart, honest Governor and legislature. When we have a conservative Gov and legislature, things go well. When we have split Government, it only gets worse when you have crooks like Doyle and the dumbos that voted for him. (Zombies)

Why should Minnesota want to run it’s leg of the high speed rail line through Eau Claire and bypass most of the cities in Minnesota just to make those idiots in Wisconsin happy? Their govenor already pissed away the 810 million the feds were going to give them. They should take a back seat to whole process.

It’s time to raze Sidney Hih IMHO. It was last used for ad space. Now there’s a big hole on the back side, and that’s a huge eyesore. The Moderine is being built across the street from Sidney Hih, and it would make ideal sense to tear down Sidney Hih to put a parking garage on this site.

Oh…OK, Yeah, my bad. That 11% is a big difference… Oh wait, come to think of it, that IS a big difference! That’s about what my tax bill decreased by this year. Thanks Gov.! But I digress. Back to the 61%… I will burn that into my memory. Let’s see, how can I best remember, 61%….Oh, I know: That’s roughly the percentage of honest, legitimate signatures gathered out of the million plus claimed, for this ridiculous recall.
Or…maybe 61% is the percentage of the vote Walker will get in the election, especially now that we have photo ID in place. 61% could easily be the amount that we were over paying for health insurance through WEA trust. 61% is about the length of time that a public worker puts in before comfortably retiring (and usually out of state I might add) compared to a private sector worker.
Gosh, this 61% thing is easier to remember than I thought…Thanks Brad!

I underestimated the percentage of money Scott Walker is pulling in from corporations and donors outside Wisconsin. It’s not “nearly half”, it’s actually *61%* according to the latest reports, apparently a new record for Wisconsin politicians getting out-of-state cash.

However, those one million-plus Recall Walker signatures are definitely all-Wisconsin.

So let’s see if I have this right. By the time the recall elections happen, there will be no time to actually do anything before the next real elections, potentially nullifying all of the recall efforts. Wow! And they’re just realizing this now? Nice game-plan. Maybe that’s why the Republicans didn’t try to recall Doyle, though far more deserving of one. So…I guess you just wait for general elections to do this? What a concept! Could that possibly be ‘What Democracy really looks like”? …naaah, silly me.
This whole thing is like something out of, a cross between Bizzarro World and the Onion.

Democrats now planning another symbolic recall election for 2013. Democrats will force another recall election, to be preceeded by another general election shortly after the following recall election, heading into that general election. Sources say, they already have another recall petition planned after that.
