The I-94 North/South Freeway Project
Track the progress of the I-94 North/South Freeway project south of downtown Milwaukee as the state works on its most expensive road project in its history.
Since shortly after the project started, The Daily Reporter staff photographer Kevin Harnack has chronicled the work along the 35-mile reconstruction project. Almost every week since April, Harnack went to his perch on the Grange Avenue overpass over I-94 to capture the progress.
Why did we choose Grange Avenue? Simple: It has the highest total traffic volume along the corridor with 161,400 vehicles per day, according to WisDOT.

We will continue to update this page with new photos from the project, so check back often.
