DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Gov. Terry Branstad has named a Wisconsin man as the new director of the Iowa Department of Transportation. Branstad on Wednesday appointed 44-year-old Paul Trombino of Verona to replace Nancy Richardson, who is retiring. Richardson has been director since 2005. Her last day is Thursday.
