Frederick H. Peterson, AIA, a health-care principal and project manager at Flad & Associates, Madison, has been certified as a health-care architect by the prestigious American College of Healthcare Architects.
The ACHA is the first professional society to board certify health-care architects, recognizing the unique nature of planning and design for health-care facilities.
Peterson received his degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska. He is NCARB certified and registered in 14 states. He has practiced exclusively in health-care architecture for 40 years, serving as a planner, designer, project manager and leader of the health-care division.
Flad & Associates is a national architecture firm that serves health, science and academic clients. The firm has five offices throughout the nation and a staff of 290 professionals.
The Redmond Company
The Redmond Company announced that Mike Pamon has joined the firm as design services director. He brings more than 21 years of architectural experience to the company and will oversee all aspects of Redmond’s in-house Design Department.
Pamon comes to Redmond from a financial design/build background, and he previously worked as a design leader in the financial market for HBE, St. Louis.
He has also providing consulting services to financial institutions and was used on many projects across the country for New Ground Resources.
He has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Tulane University and holds a master’s in architecture from Tulane University School of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a registered architects in several states.
