J.H. Findorff & Son Inc.

J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. promoted Fred Lind to project manager at its Madison office. Lind has been with Findorff for seven years, previously as a project engineer.

Madison Area Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association

The Madison Area Mechanical & Sheet Metal Contractors Association installed its new officers for 2009.

President is David Gillette of General Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. Vice president is Thomas Duffy of Commercial Air Inc. Secretary/treasurer is David Bultman of Kilgust Mechanical Inc.


NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, honored Christine Korjenek, chapter executive of NAIOP Wisconsin, with the Chapter Executive of the Year award, recognizing excellence in chapter leadership.

Korjenek joined NAIOP Wisconsin in 2007.

Some of her notable accomplishments in 2008 included helping the chapter grow its membership by 37 percent; initiating a developing leaders program for select commercial real estate professionals; reaching a record level in attaining new corporate sponsors; pursuing activities aimed at keeping NAIOP Wisconsin at the forefront of legislative matters; coordinating the chapter’s first NAIOP-PAC event.

Stevens Construction Corp.

A reorganized management and ownership team is in charge at Stevens Construction Corp. Mark Rudnicki is chief executive and treasurer; Geoffrey Vine is president; Glenn Hofer is project executive; and Brian Wagner is vice president of preconstruction.

Rudnicki, Vine, Hofer and Wagner bring 46 years of combined experience as both employees and shareholders of Stevens.

Triad Construction Inc.

Triad Construction Inc. hired Tom Able as superintendent and Meggen Kaufman as marketing coordinator.

Able has more than 27 years of experience in commercial and residential construction. He has owned his own construction firm and most recently worked for C.G. Schmidt Inc.

He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has trade expertise as a finish carpenter.

Kaufman brings more than eight years of marketing communications experience including strong expertise in public relations and graphic design.

She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
