- Norby Construction Inc., Wisconsin Dells, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 4 to reduce a $600 general-safety-and-health-provisions citation to $200. The company was issued the citation on Jan. 22 during a carpentry job in Middleton.
- SGO Roofing and Construction LLC, Lakeville, Minn., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 9 to reduce a $750 general-safety-and-health-provisions citation to zero, a $2,500 fall-protection citation to $1,000 and two ladders citations, totaling $3,500, to $1,400. The company was issued the citations Jan. 16 during a roofing job at 650 Richmond Way, New Richmond.
- Babcock Outdoor Advertising Inc., Janesville, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 11 to reduce a $750 aerial-lifts citation to $400. The company was issued the citation Jan. 27 during a specialty-trade job at 8600 Washington Ave., Racine.
- Suburban Drywall Inc., Lake Mills, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 12 to reduce a $600 electrical-wiring-methods citation to $420. The company was issued the citation Jan. 28 during a drywall and insulation job in Middleton.
- Milwaukee Iron Works LLC, South Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 19 to reduce a $450 aerial-lifts citation to $225. The company was issued the citation Jan. 27 during a structural-steel erection job at 1551 N. Water St., Milwaukee.
- J. Werner Heating Inc., Germantown, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 19 to reduce a $500 stairways citation to $350. The company was issued the citation Feb. 18 during a plumbing, heating and air-conditioning job in Menomonee Falls.
- Holtger Brothers Inc., De Pere, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 23 to reduce a $2,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $1,750. The company was issued the citation Feb. 6 during an excavation job in Sheboygan.
- O’Brien & Herman Plumbing LLC, Sturtevant, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Feb. 24 to reduce a $450 ladders citation to $100, a $1,500 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to zero and three specific-excavation-requirements citations, totaling $4,500, to $1,500. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $1,500 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citations and three specific-excavation-requirements citations, totaling $4,500. The company was issued the citations Jan. 29 during a plumbing, heating and air-conditioning job at 10640 Durand Ave., Sturtevant.
