Dorner Inc. did not violate federal safety laws when its crews broke a natural gas pipe in Sheboygan in June, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ruled Thursday.

Dorner, Luxemburg, ruptured a gas line June 1, resulting in the evacuation of the area around the construction site at the intersection of 26th Street and Erie Avenue. Robert Hager, supervisor in the Appleton OSHA office, said the resulting agency investigation found that Dorner did not violate safety standards.
