The work is part of a project on the Badger Interchange that will include an expansion from four to six lanes, bridge replacements and median safety-wall installation. The $43 million project is being financed with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money and represents the largest transportation-related ARRA project in south-central Wisconsin. The prime contractor is Zignego Co. Inc., Waukesha. The first phase is expected to be completed by the end of November. Photo by Tessa Treuden
