The Rock Springs Library is set to reopen Saturday, Sept. 26, after extensive flooding last year.
Money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency went to put up new walls and install a new floor, but work remains to be done, and the library will open at limited capacity.
Employees of Madison-based engineering firm BT2 Inc. raised $860 to aid the remodeling project at the firm’s annual picnic.
According to a release attributed to Mark Huber, the company’s CEO, having an office in the Lake Delton area gave better insight to the devastation wrought by the flooding.
BT2 will deliver the money next week.
