• Long Life Roofing Inc., Wisconsin Dells, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 2 to reduce a $600 fall-protection citation to $200. The company was issued the citation June 19 during an industrial building job in Wisconsin Dells.
• Sawfish Construction LLC, Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 7 to reduce a $1,500 scaffolding-training citation to $0 and four scaffolding citations, totaling $6,000, to $3,000. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $1,500 scaffolding-training citation and three scaffolding citations, totaling $4,500. The company was issued the citations June 17 during a residential remodeling job at 3017 S. Superior St., Milwaukee.
• Badger Roofing of Wisconsin, Wausau, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 10 to reduce a $1,050 fall-protection citation to $735. The company was issued the citation June 29 during a roofing job at 321 S. 52nd Ave., Wausau.
• All State Roofing Inc., Madison, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on July 14 to reduce a $1,000 fall-protection citation to $500. The company was issued the citation June 30 during a nonresidential building job at 640 Enterprise Drive, Verona.
• CJC Construction LLC, Green Bay, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on July 16 to reduce a $600 eye-and-face-protection citation to $420 and a $1,050 scaffolding citation to $735. The company was issued the citations June 18 during a single-family housing job at 999 Astor Court, Ashwaubenon.
• Steffens Roofing Inc., Oconto Falls, reached informal settlements with OSHA on July 19 and July 27 to reduce a $2,800 fall-protection citation to $1,400 and a $1,600 eye-and-face-protection citation to $800. The company was issued the citations July 9 during a roofing job at 967 Springfield Drive, De Pere.

Inc., Lake Delton, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 5 to reduce a $2,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $0 and a $2,500 requirements-for-protective-systems citation $2,000. • American RSI, Beaver Dam, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 6 to pay a $2,000 fall-protection citation and reduce an $800 head-protection citation to $500, a $2,800 fall-protection-training citation to $1,000, a $2,000 ladders citation to $1,300 and a $1,000 stairways-and-ladders-training citation to $0. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $1,000 scaffolding citation. The company was issued the citations July 15 during a roofing job in Juneau.

Magill also reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 11 to pay a $1,500 fall-protection citation and a $1,500 fall-protection-training citation. The company was issued the citations July 24 during a nonresidential building job at 8288 Antioch Road, Salem.

• Cablecom LLC, Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 13 to reduce a $2,500 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,800 and four specific-excavation-requirements citations, totaling $10,000, to $2,800. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss two specific-excavation-requirements citations, totaling $5,000. The company was issued the citations July 28 during a specialty-trade job in Kenosha.

The company was issued the citations Dec. 18, 2008, during a painting and wall-covering job at 2718 N. Downer Ave., Milwaukee.
• Ken Kabanuk, Harris, Minn., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 18 to reduce a $1,500 fall-protection citation to $900 and a $1,500 ladders citation to $900. The company was issued the citations July 22 during a single-family housing job at 603 Main St., Eau Claire.
• Bridges R Us Painting Co. Inc., Campbell, Ohio, paid a $4,200 lead citation and a $1,500 aerial-lifts citation on Aug. 18. The company was issued the citations July 15 during a specialty-trade job in La Crosse.
