MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The forecast of more than a foot of snow across much of Wisconsin, including the state capital, is leading to a blizzard of government meeting cancellations.
The state Natural Resources Board canceled its Tuesday afternoon meeting to talk about the recently completed gun deer season.
Three Wednesday hearings in the Legislature have also been called off.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, the Assembly Consumer Protection Committee and the Assembly Health and Healthcare Reform Committee all canceled their hearings.
A Department of Revenue town hall meeting on property assessments in Green Bay and a listening session in Beloit by the Office of Justice Assistance to talk about traffic stop data have both been canceled for Wednesday.
