•    Adept Contractors Inc., Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 23 to reduce a $4,000 fall-protection citation to $1,400. The company was issued the citation Sept. 16 during a roofing job in Madison.
•    Haas Sons Inc., Thorp, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 25 to reduce a $675 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $473. The company was issued the citation Sept. 21 during an excavation job in Chippewa Falls.
•    Dell Construction Co. Inc., Eau Claire, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 28 to reduce a $625 fall-protection citation to $438. The company was issued the citation Sept. 14 during a nonresidential building job at 1110 Broadway, Menomonie.
•    Kevin’s Quality Roofing, Fitchburg, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 28 to reduce a $1,050 ladders citation to $420 and a $1,500 fall-protection citation to $600. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $1,500 fall-protection citation and a $750 fall-protection-training citation. The company was issued the citations Sept. 17 during a roofing job at 4622 Anniversary Lane, Madison.

•    Tri-North Builders Inc., Fitchburg, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to reduce a $1,625 fall-protection citation to $800. The company was issued the citation Feb. 6 during a nonresidential building job at 1001 Nygaard St., Stoughton.
