• U Care We Care Roofing, Pardeeville, must pay a $1,500 fall-protection citation because the period to contest the violation has ended. The company was issued the citation April 29 during a roofing job in Pardeeville.
• Honorio Agaton, Appleton, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 25 to reduce a $1,500 eye-and-face-protection citation to $1,050 and a $1,500 fall-protection citation to $1,050. The company was issued the citations Sept. 10 during a roofing job at 2800 N. Park Drive Lane, Appleton.
• Madison Gas and Electric Co., Madison, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to pay a $1,500 requirements-for-protective-systems citation and to reduce a $7,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation to $4,800. The company was issued the citations Sept. 10 during an oil- and gas-pipeline job in Madison.
• Stetzer Electric Inc., Blair, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to dismiss a $600 safety-related-work-practices citation and to reduce a $1,500 aerial-lifts citation to $900. The company was issued the citations Sept. 18 during an electrical job in Black River Falls.
• Kevin Sterwald Roofing LLC, Watertown, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to reduce a $4,000 fall-protection citation to $1,800. The company was issued the citation Sept. 18 during a roofing job in Watertown.
• Ford Metro Inc., Rochester, Minn., reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to reduce a $300 scaffolding-training citation to $210. The company was issued the citation Sept. 18 during a glass and glazing job at 1223 Whipple St., Eau Claire.
• A-1 Excavating Inc., Bloomer, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 30 to reduce a $1,500 respiratory-protection citation to $500 and a $1,500 hazard-communication citation to $500. The company was issued the citations June 11 during an excavation job at 141 River St., Merrimac.
• Carl Cure Roofing LLC, Verona, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 1 to reduce a $600 fall-protection citation to $360, a $600 fall-protection-training citation to $360 and a $600 ladders citation to $360. The company was issued the citations Sept. 16 during a residential remodeling job at 4530 Anniversary Lane, Madison.

• Dantkens Roofing LLC, Baraboo, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 7 to reduce a $375 fall-protection citation to $262.50. The company was issued the citation Sept. 18 during a nonresidential building job at 170 N. Hyer Lane, Whitewater.
• McCabe Construction Inc., Eau Claire, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 7 to reduce a $3,000 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation to $1,800. The company was issued the citation Sept. 14 during a water- and sewer-line job in Eau Claire.
• The Boldt Co., Appleton, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 8 to reduce a $1,300 scaffolding citation to $910. The company was issued the citation Sept. 17 during a nonresidential building job at 1223 Whipple St., Eau Claire.
• Solterman Roofing Co. Inc., Portage, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 9 to reduce a $225 eye-and-face-protection citation to $157.50 and a $375 fall-protection citation to $262.50. The company was issued the citations Sept. 29 during a residential remodeling job in Pardeeville.
• Get Home Improvements LLC, Milwaukee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Oct. 12 to reduce a $225 electrical-installation-safety-requirements citation to $157.50 and a $375 aerial-lifts citation to $262.50.
