MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Democrats’ plan for creating jobs and improving Wisconsin’s economy is scheduled for a vote Thursday in the Senate.

It additionally would increase partnerships between businesses and the University of Wisconsin.

The bill also expands or creates programs to help companies educate and retrain workers as well as to retool for green energy production or manufacturing.
