WisDOT to hold public hearing on Highway 14 study

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation on Tuesday, March 9, will hold a public information meeting to discuss the Highway 14 corridor study from Highway 78 in Mazomanie to Highway 12 in Middleton.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Wisconsin Heights High School in Mazomanie.

The study examines existing environmental, social, and transportation-related issues along Highway 14. It also includes strategies and recommendations to improve operations and safety within the corridor.

Strategies are geared toward preserving the functional life of the existing two-lane highway for as long as possible.

Recommendations include realigning existing intersections to address safety issues and limiting the addition of new intersections with the highway.
