Bradley Center to get $5 million improvement

The State Building Commission on Wednesday approved $5 million to assist maintenance and repair of the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

The money will be used to add seating, improve spectator suites and replace safety boards that surround the hockey rink.

State Sen. Ted Kanavas, R-Brookfield, objected to spending the state money, saying there needs to be a long-range plan in place on future spending for the Center.
