STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) — A digital construction sign along the interstate in central Wisconsin displayed some bewildering messages for passing motorists Thursday.

Apparently a prankster was feeling a touch romantic or was inspired by some rock lyrics when he or she tampered with the sign along southbound Interstate 39 near Stevens Point.

The sign flashed “Danger Danger,” ”High Voltage,” ”When We Touch, “When We Kiss.”

Those words are actually some borrowed lyrics from the Detroit-based Electric Six rock band and its song “Danger! High Voltage.”

The message board sign was placed along the interstate because the state Department of Transportation is repainting several overpasses in the area. The co-owner of the company that operates the sign, James Bierman of Central State Signing in Lancaster, said an unknown hacker changed the message board.
