Oshkosh Corp. gets $600 million delivery order from Army

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — The U.S. Army has ordered more than 2,400 military vehicles from the defense arm of Oshkosh Corp. in a deal worth about $600 million.

According to Oshkosh Defense on Wednesday, the order calls for delivery of about 1,900 heavy-duty tactical trucks and more than 500 supply trucks.

The order is part of a broader $6 billion contract the Pentagon approved with the company in October 2008.

The latest deal allocates some $600 million of the total to this specific order.
