Delavan Industrial Park turns up effort to fetch a sale

By Keith Barber

The Delavan Industrial Park has a new broker.

A proposal from NAI MLG Commercial to assist the city of Delavan in marketing the industrial park was recently approved. It’s a win-win situation for the city in that no brokerage fees are to be paid except in the instance of a land sale.

Presently, NAI MLG Commercial is marketing several commercial and industrial properties along the I-43 corridor in Rock and Walworth counties.

This deal will now allow NAI MLG to market the entire corridor as a package. John Henderson of NAI MLG has indicated that the firm now has the exclusive rights to market the park, but would work with any other broker to complete a sale, splitting fees 50/50.

The park has never before been represented by a brokerage firm, and not professionally marketed. The NAI MGL website has information about the seven available lots. The site also contains basic information about the city of Delavan and lists other tenants in the park.

In addition to the lot offerings, the firm is marketing an existing building in the park at 1849 Hobbs Drive for sale or lease.
