U.S. 41 and I-43 in Green Bay will have no lane closures on Sunday to accommodate a high volume of traffic expected from the Milwaukee area for the Green Bay Packers game, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region Office. Sunday’s game is a “Gold Package game” for Milwaukee season ticket holders.
I-43 from the Sheboygan County line and U.S. 41 from the Fond du Lac County line northbound to Green Bay will have all lanes open a minimum of five hours prior to kickoff. The southbound lanes will be open for five hours following the conclusion of the game.
On U.S. 41 in Winnebago County, motorists should also be aware:
• Lanes have been reduced in various areas to a width of 11 feet from WIS 26 south of Oshkosh to Bell Street/Breezewood Lane in the Neenah area;
• the speed limit is 55 mph northbound from WIS 76 to Bell Street/Breezewood Lane; and
• the speed limit is 55 mph southbound over Little Lake Butte des Morts and from WIS 21 in Oshkosh to WIS 26.
