• D&B Roofing & Building Inc., New London, must pay a $2,000 fall-protection citation and $2,000 ladders citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations Aug. 2 during a roofing job at 218 W. Spring St., New London.

• Jackson Construction LLC, Deerfield, must pay a $1,500 fall-protection citation and a $1,500 fall-protection-training citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations July 28 during a roofing job at 2663 Saw Tooth Drive, Fitchburg.

• The Hardtland Co. Inc., Verona, must pay a $1,050 fall-protection citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citation July 28 during a roofing job at 919 Laura St., Verona.

• Bulldog Construction, Stoughton, must pay a $1,500 fall-protection citation and $1,500 ladders citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations June 29 during a roofing job in Stoughton.

• Smithback Excavating Inc., Deerfield, must pay a $1,500 specific-excavation-requirements citation and two requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citations, totaling $2,550, because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations Aug. 6 during an excavation job in Stoughton.

• Hustad Roofing Inc., Madison, must pay a $450 stairways-and-ladders-training citation and two ladders citations, totaling $900, because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations July 29 during a roofing job at 9225 Crosswinds Lane, Madison.

• Boldon Brothers Construction Inc., Sparta, must pay a $1,500 fall-protection citation and a $300 abatement-verification citation because the period to contest the violations has ended. The company was issued the citations May 25 and July 28 before and after a masonry job at 211 Leer St., New Lisbon.

• Wipperfurth Excavating Inc., Waunakee, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Aug. 31 to reduce a $1,500 safety-training-and-education citation to $0 and to pay a $1,500 requirements-for-excavation-protective-systems citation. The company was issued the citations Aug. 11 during an excavation job at 4526 Monona Drive, Monona.

• Humpal Construction LLC, Cadott, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 7 to reduce a $450 eye-and-face-protection citation to $315. The company was issued the citation Sept. 3 during a single-family housing job at 4710 Commerce Valley Road, Eau Claire.

• Hose Realty, Madison, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on Sept. 15 to reduce six asbestos citations, totaling $6,000, to $1,950 and to dismiss seven asbestos citations, totaling $5,250. The company and OSHA also reached an informal settlement June 4 to reduce a $1,050 safety-training-and-education citation to $0. The company was issued the citations May 12 during a nonresidential building job at 307 Forrest St., Stoughton.
