HKS Holdings LLC plans to build a 70-unit apartment building with 9,000-square-feet of ground floor retail space on the southeast corner of South Kinnickinnic Avenue and East Conway Street in Bay View, a neighborhood south of downtown Milwaukee.
Alderman Tony Zielinski will hold a meeting for residents on the proposed development at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Bay View High School auditorium.
The rent for the one- and two-bedroom apartments will range from $700 to $1,500 a month, according to Zielinski. The design is incorporating some green and sustainable components.
Joe Klein, a partner is HKS, declined to discuss the plans until after the meeting with area residents.
Engberg Anderson Inc. is the architect on the project.
