OSHA reports
• J&L Electric Corp., Hudson, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on June 15 to reduce two electrical-wiring-methods citations, totaling $3,060, to $2,142. The company was issued the citations May 31 during an electrical job at 623 S. Second St., Luck.
• Amalgamated Roofing, Sussex, reached an informal settlement with OSHA on June 23 to reduce a $3,000 fall-protection citation to $1,000. The company was issued the citation May 23 during a roofing job at 1805 Kensington Ave., Waukesha.
• Forever Floors Inc., Kenosha, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on June 26 to reduce a $2,400 fall-protection citation to $1,000. The company was issued the citation April 1 during a flooring job at 1330 52nd St., Kenosha.
• IEI General Contractors Inc., De Pere, reached a formal settlement with OSHA on June 27 to reduce a $2,975 respiratory-protection citation to $1,500, a $2,975 hazard-communication citation to $0, a $2,975 safety-training-and-education citation to $1,500 and a $2,975 temporary-heating-devices citation to $0. The company and OSHA also agreed to dismiss a $2,975 respiratory-protection citation, a $2,975 hazard-communication citation, a $2,975 safety-training-and-education citation and a $2,975 temporary-heating-devices citation. The company was issued the citations Jan. 26 during an industrial building job at W3247 County Trunk S, Iron Ridge.
• Doral Corp., Milwaukee, will reach a formal settlement with OSHA on July 8 to reduce a $4,410 steel-erection-fall-protection citation to $3,800. The company was issued the citation Dec. 22 during a structural steel erection job at 6905 75th Place, Pleasant Prairie.
