Wisconsin man dies in construction zone crash

HAVRE, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says a motorcycle crashed into a construction truck in north-central Montana, killing the 61-year-old Wisconsin man riding the bike.

The Havre Daily News reported Stephen C. Meyer of Marshfield, Wis., died in the crash Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 2 east of Havre.

According to the patrol, the eastbound motorcycle collided with the passenger side of a westbound Mack truck that was making a left turn at a highway construction zone. Meyer was wearing a helmet.
